Singer and actor Pablo Montero is allegedly receiving death threats, making him consider a move to the United States.

A friend of the 42-year-old celebrity said that Montero is receiving threatening phone calls daily. The callers say they will kill him or his family, TV Notas noted. Montero is beginning to suspect that the people who are threatening him are the same ones that killed his two brothers.

"It's a very delicate topic," the source said. "He has tried to be calm about it. He doesn't want people to know this is happening and that his wife, Carolina, and their daughter, Carito and Daniela, are at risk. He's very worried and scared. He doesn't know what to do."

Montero's two brothers were killed in the last few years.

In June 2010, Oliver, who was 37, was shot. In June 2013, Javier, who was 45, was also killed. Javier Hernandez Rodriguez was a makeup artist and hairdresser, and he was stabbed while walking. He was accompanied by another person. Oliver served as Montero's manager and right-hand man. He was shot and killed while driving on the highway.

At the time, Montero said, "Through this statement I want to express my deepest appreciation for the love, support and prayers. We have come together as a family: uncles, cousins, brothers and friends to give each other strength to bear the lamentable loss of my brother Javier. At the moment I am processing the paperwork for the ceremony that will take place."

Montero and his wife recently welcomed their second child, Daniela. The proud father shared a picture of her on Twitter and said, "This is Daniela, a little gift that heaven gave us."
