Just when you thought MLB 14: The Show couldn't get any better, this video happened.

That's right: Danny McBride, best known for his ultra-hilarious portrayal of former Major League Baseball pitcher Kenny Powers in HBO's "Eastbound & Down" is featured in the game. Powers, played by McBride, disses football and basketball and says that baseball is better because you can walk away with souvenirs, like an actual ball.

McBride's affiliation with The Show franchise is part of Sony's ongoing Baseball is Better campaign. Humorous videos aren't the only way the campaign is drumming up support and attention for Sony's hit Baseball game franchise. Product giveaways via Twitter are common.

One lucky fan, Bobby Fowler, won an epic prize pack consisting of a PS4 system with customized Baseball engravings, a copy of MLB 14: The Show itself and an official PS4 video game headset among other goodies.

"Congrats to Bobby Fowler for winning the exclusive PlayStation Baseball is Better Travel Bag! #BASEBALLisBETTER," the tweet read, underneath a picture of the prize pack valued at hundreds of dollars.

All Fowler had to do was reply to an MLB 14: The Show's tweet and answer the question why baseball is better. Amazing, right?

Past promotions have included team branded DualShock 4 controllers. You had to preorder the game to get one of these, but one lucky fan @TPotts8 got his hands on an Atlanta Braves themed controller.

So why are PlayStation gamers so gaga over MLB 14: The Show? Perhaps it's their love of baseball, plain and simple. But we think it goes deeper than that. No baseball game, let alone sports game, is as detailed and realistic as The Show. With beautiful 1080p graphics and a silky smooth frame-rate (60fps), you really feel like you a part of the infield, outfield or bullpen!
