President Donald Trump visited Mexico in September to court the Hispanic voters where he lost during the 2016 election.

His rally in Mexico took 95 minutes where he touted Hispanic Americans employment and the decrease of poverty rate among the Latinos living in America. During his rally, he impede his 2020 Democratic rivals by touting the U.S. car industry. Furthermore, Trump also addressed the threats brought about by the Democrats because they will ultimately demolish what the Republicans started and gained.

Diverse individuals participated in the rally, bringing with them a signage "Latinos for Trump" and some of these plackards were distributed in the venue. Aside from the signage, a text brigade "Vamos" was also done as a support to President Trump.

However, President Trump is struggling to court the Hispanic voters. In a CNN report, only 29 per cent of the Latinos approve his performance rating in his office compared to the two-thirds who disapprove. This is after his initial speech in 2015 where he exemplified his plans for the undocumented Hispanics living in America by building a wall to keep them out.

President Trump made policies during his time and targeted those who are undocumented who are coming from Central and South America who cross the border. This policy led to the separation of parents from their children. With this, the Human Right Groups slammed the Trump administration due the the conditions of the illegal immigrants while inside the detention center.

In 2016 election, Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton won in New Mexico. She got 48 per cent compared to Trump's 40 per cent. However, 42 per cent was casted for Trump compared to 37 per cent for Clinton was casted by the state's individual voters. This gives a conclusion for Trump's administration that the 2020 election is at play.

President Trump's campaign manager Brad Parscale told the reporters that New Mexico is a state where the policies of the Trump Admistration for undocumented immigrants is working. Parscale added that Mexicans understands the significance of borders because of the illegal drugs pouring across the country. He also said that these policies are very appealing to the Hispanics.

As proof, they have observed that there are many Hispanics who now registered themselves for the upcoming 2020 elections. Most of these new voters did not register and vote for Trump in 2016. According to voter registration statistics, 33 per cent of the Sandoval County where the rally was held are registered as Republicans while 43 per cent are registered as Democrats. Despite the close gap of number of voters, President Trump still vowed to win the 2020 elections in New Mexico.

Reuters reports that President Trumps campaign team have runned more than 3,000 Facebook ads asking people to sign an online petition to deport illegal immigrants. It can be remembered that in 2016, President Trump called the Mexicans as rapists and murderers. In spite of this, he won a nearly third of the Latino vote of the same election year.

According to Reuters, in a survey conducted from July to September, 29 per cent of the Latinos approved his performance but this is lower compared to the 39 per cent approval among all Americans.

Immigration is what the Hispanic community considers as the the biggest political issues. At the present, President Trump is running the largest digital advertising operation in 2020 elections. According to the Reuters analysis of Facebook ad Data, President Trump run more ads using Spanish Language compared to his Democrats contenders.
