On Saturday, President Donald Trump was not alarmed with a report regarding multiple smugglers cutting through the US-Mexico border. The president immediately said that the matter can be "easily fixed".

President Trump said to reporters in Washington before he went on to travel to New York, the US-Mexico wall is tough. He believes that despite the strength of the wall between then and Mexico, there will always be a soft spot in the border.

According to the US president, cutting through the border is one thing but he showed no concern about it. He said that one of the purposes for how the border was structured was because it can be "easily fixed".

Despite the statement released in September by Trump describing the US-Mexico border being "virtually impenetrable" and "cannot be climbed", multiple smugglers cutting through the US-Mexico border are using power saws and ladders to penetrate through the border.

On November 2, it was reported by Washington Post that smugglers from Mexico are successfully sawing through the steel posts (with concrete centers) in the US-Mexico border. It was observed that these smugglers were using cordless saws found in almost all hardware stores in the country. It also stated that cutting through the posts in the border can be easily achieved through the use of diamond grits and blades made by tungsten carbide

According to a report by the Washington Post on Saturday after stating some anonymous United States agents and officials, that gangs specialized in providing smuggled ready-to-use powerful tools ideal for cutting through thick and good-structured walls can be used by people to move people and illegal drugs across the border of US and Mexico.

On the other hand, it is still undetermined how many times this type of incident had occurred though one of the administration officials had shared on the Post that it was only done in a "few instances". The admin official had also said that a new fence had been built which had effectively affected the security in the US-Mexico border.

There had been reports that reciprocating saws (the cordless ones) are being sold for a cheaper price. It is priced at $100. It can cut through the US-Mexican border in a couple of minutes.

President Donald Trump had started creating the wall with a prototype to control the flow of immigrants entering the United States of America from Mexico but the US congress denied him help with its construction.

The Customs and Border Protection spokesman Matthew Leas had later on confirmed to the reports coming out to public media regarding the multiple smugglers cutting through the US-Mexico border. Leas, however, stated that the news was overstating the actual incidents turning it into a major issue. He said that the breaches happening on the US-Mexican border are true but it is not a major problem that should cause alarm to the public.

The new administration is planning on building the actual wall of at least four hundred miles starting at the end of the year 2020.
