Former Vice President Joe Biden, one of the 2020 election's presidential candidates, explains his plans for the Latino community on his campaign website. On the website, he tells of the importance of the Latin community in the US's history and their significant contributions to society. If elected as president, he also promises equality among different races, religions, and more.

Joe Biden has numerous plans for the country involving the welfare of the Latin community, with a focus on promoting Latinos' dignity and giving them respect is also included in his campaign website.

Recently, a Latina senior campaign staff of Biden had quit her position. Her name is Vanessa Cárdenas. Before quitting, she was the one in charge of managing Biden's campaign with the women of African-American, and Latino groups.

Cárdenas had previously admitted to her two teammates her frustrations for her insufficiency of contributions to Biden's campaign involving immigration issues.

She had been working as a national partner director from the beginning of Biden's formal campaign for the 2020 elections on April 25th this. Her resignation last week from her post was evident in her Twitter account's bio says that she had "worked" with Joe Biden.

Her two friends had said that Cárdenas' contributions to the campaign were not being heard by her team. Her friends said that the team was not hearing out her suggestions to reach out to the Latino community which had concerning history regarding Joe Biden's remarks during his leadership alongside Former President Barrack Obama.

According to an activist for immigrants' rights and a friend of Cárdenas, the focus of Biden's campaign was geared towards white and African-American groups which Cárdenas felt was causing less attention to the Latin community. Cárdenas had been exerting intense efforts to make them hear her suggestions and observations regarding the campaign. Another thing that Cárdenas was certain was that Joe Biden will not change his views on immigration. All of this had made Cárdenas decide to leave the campaign.

Vanessa Cárdenas had been an activist for the rights of Latino immigrants in the United States of America. It was her first time working for the election campaign of a candidate.

Cárdenas did not leave the campaign team of Joe Biden without leaving anyone to lead the campaign to reach out to the Latino community. Christobal Alex (previous president of the Latino Victory Fund) is the senior adviser of Joe Biden for Hispanic-related issues. Joe Biden also has Laura Jimenez as his outreach director for Latino communities.

Her resignation from the campaign team of Biden is just one of the many problems that Joe Biden's campaign had experienced involving Latino community outreach.

Joe Biden was critiqued when he did not attend a forum with an elected official with Latino origin in June. He was then saved by a campaign that had led to an image showing his dedication to the Latino community.

Despite these issues, Biden is still among the 2020 presidential hopefuls to have a good number of Latino supporters in multiple national surveys conducted in states with a big number of Latino population. He promises to include a dedication to the Latin community in his campaign.
