This crime involved two male nurses namely Marcelo Pereira Guzzo and Juan Acevedo Agriela, who proclaimed themselves as the "Angels of Death." They worked in Uruguay's capital city as public hospital nurses. They were charged with murder after it was found that they killed patients who were terminally-ill. They also said that they could not bare to see patients suffer. The modus of the nurse is to inject an excessive dose of morphine or plain bubbles to the victims' veins. It was also found out that the murderers texted each other and brag about how they kill the patients.

This crime involved Florencio Fernandez who killed victims like a vampire. He would sneak into houses during summer nights. It was said that most of his victims were young women during the 1950s. He would bite his victims' throat and drink their blood. Meanwhile, he was arrested in 1960 by the authorities. At first, people were doubtful about his insanity but they changed their mind after the authorities announced that Fernandez has been living in a cave and psychiatric reports state that he has developed a sexual attraction to blood. He was sent to the psychiatric ward after being declared insane and died years after.

Special Agent Kiki was on his way to meet his wife. However, he has abducted by corrupt policemen who were hired by the well-known drug lord Miguel Angel Felix. Agent Kiki became an eyesore to Felix because he has information about the vast marijuana plantation that Felix owned. The killing of Agent Kiki was gruesome because he was forced to take marijuana to remain conscious during the process of torture. Meanwhile, a campaign called Red Ribbon Week was initiated to honor the agent. This event attracted the international media.

4. The Apostle of Death in Lima, Peru

This crime involved Pedro Pablo Nakada Ludeña who is also known as "The Apostle of Death." He claimed that God told him to clean Lima street. He killed drug addicts, homeless people, homosexuals, a 50-year-old lady who was smoking marijuana, and a man he thought was gay. He killed a total of 17 people and got arrested in 2006. He was sent to the psychiatric ward where he served 35 years. His brother was also arrested in Japan in 2015 after he murdered six people.

Forbes even included him in 2009 as one of the most powerful persons where it was estimated that he has a fortune of around $1 billion. Mexican officials believed that he is the culprit of the death of no less than 70,000 which is said to be related to the drug trade and underground economy.
