Apple has recently revealed a stunning change to its mobile device line with the introduction of iPhone 12 Pro in a Navy Blue finish which replaces the Midnight Green that apple has rendered in its iPhone 11, according to an article by Forbes.

Max Weinbach, XDA Developers' industry insider who has teamed up with popular YouTuber Filip Koroy (aka EverythingApplePro), revealed the iPhone 12 Pro series will look a shade different than many buyers expect.

Forbes further reports, this simple change is a surprising one because Midnight Green was reported to be the most popular finish for the iPhone 11 Pro models at launch and Apple only introduced it last year. But the good news is the new blue looks superb with Koroy's renders which suggests this color will be saleable in 2020.

Aside from this change, Apple has many other upgrades lined up for its new iPhones such as screen size changes, new 120Hz OLED ProMotion displays, exciting long-range 3D mapping cameras, long-awaited 5G connectivity across the range, a potentially transformative new A14 chip and Touch ID via an in-display sensor.

Furthermore, a press release published by Gartner noted that mainstream availability of 5G phones will drive the smartphone sector to growth for the first time in several years. Additionally, a research note from Wedbush released by AppleInsider shows reports to seeing "overwhelming positive data points" from the supply chain. According to Wedbush, 350 million iPhone owners are currently in the market for upgrades and they just need a catalyst which, they claim, will be the 5G iPhone 12 series. Forbes further advised that if you want the Navy Blue iPhone 12 Pro or Pro Max, you should move fast before it runs out of stock.

Meanwhile, according to an article published by CNET, the iPhone 12 is still expected to come in three different screen sizes: one 5.4-inch, two 6.1-inch and one 6.7-inch phone. However, the largest iPhone which they dubbed, 'iPhone 12 Pro Max,' is expected to be taller and slimmer than the current iPhone 11 Pro Max.

On the question of iPhone 12 being identical to iPhone 11, according to CNET article, it won't exactly be the same, but close enough. A new report by Japanese publication Mac Otakara claims that the iPhone 12 will have a very similar metal chassis to the iPhone 11, but with slightly bowed edges, citing an unnamed Chinese supplier as the source of this information.

Due to this reveal, Apple looks set to increase prices once again. Also, there are already big discounts on the iPhone 11.

According to Bloomberg, the iPhone 9, a cheaper iPhone would fill a gap in Apple's lineup that has existed ever since the iPhone SE was discontinued in 2018. CNET reported that it would be the same size as the 4.7-inch iPhone 8 and sport the same overall design. This model could go on sale sometime in March.
