Sofitel Mexico City Reforma Hotel is the first Sofitel-branded, and the first luxury hotel, in Mexico City in more than a decade according to a published article in Forbes.

The new luxury hotel in Mexico City is located in Paseo De La Reforma. It offers French and local cuisines in the world's most exciting city. The Sofitel in Mexico City has 40 floors with 275 rooms and 56 of these are suites. All rooms can view the city below and anyone planning to stay in the hotel can also access and avail the Club Millesime luxury room which serves breakfast, snacks throughout the day, and cocktails every evening.

The property was launched to integrate Mexican and French aesthetic impulses. With this, Sofitel hired four artists to create street murals that reflect Mexican culture through urban graffiti in the neighborhoods of Condesa and Roma. Guests of the hotel have two choices to enjoy the murals in the streets. It is either to hire a tour guide who can give them the history of each mural or walk by themselves.

Moreover, this is the hotel where every traveler can enjoy both French and Mexican cuisines. Guests and travelers who stay in the Sofitel can experience the French cooking techniques that are applied in local ingredients by Chef Luis Escamilla in Bajel restaurant which is inside the Sofitel. The design of the restaurant both incorporates the new and old together and everyone will definitely enjoy Tequila and Mezcal which are the specialties of its newly installed bar.

Guests and travelers who plan to stay here will not only enjoy the amenities of the hotel. Aside from letting everyone see the city below, guests and travelers can also overlook some tourist spots like The Angel of Independence and Castle of Chapultepec which are known as two of the iconic sites in the city.

Just a short walk from the hotel, travelers and guests can visit some museums like the world-class National Museum of Anthropology, Museo Tamayo, and some small contemporary art museum.

Aside from the Bajel restaurant in the hotel, you can also enjoy your stay by experiencing eating cuisines that are produced through wood-cooking in the Balta restaurant that is still inside the Sofitel. The most interesting part of the luxury hotel is its rooftop bar, the Cityzen, that will let you experience having a view of the city at night and at present, this is one of the hottest nightlife spots in the city.

If you get tired because of roaming around the city, have visited the museums, went to the iconic spots, and spent a night at the rooftop bar then you surely want to take a rest after without being disturbed. The hotel rooms in the hotel are perfectly made for every traveler and guest to relax after a day spent outside and inside the hotel. Rooms are very tranquil and you can enjoy dipping yourself in its soaking tubs that overlook the city.

Staying in the hotel is not difficult most especially for foreigners because they have staff who speak English, Spanish, and French. Everyone is welcome here and their staff is very friendly. You can also call them at any time of the day.

As mentioned that this hotel combines both Mexican and French culture. The Spa Sofitel With L'Occitane is a combination of pre-Hispanic traditional therapies with well-regarded French skincare through its products. This is the best hotel that every guest and travelers can enjoy while staying in Mexico City.
