Famous Personalities Who Tested Positive for Coronavirus
No one is exempted from the coronavirus. Anyone could be infected with the pandemic disease easily.
Either you are rich or poor, young or old, celebrity or not, and whatever title you have in this world, you could be infected by a coronavirus.
In the previous days, the number of cases of persons who are confirmed with coronavirus continues to swell. The world was also stunned after an NBA player was confirmed to have the coronavirus, Holywood Actors and actresses infected with it also and more.
In a recently published article as of Thursday evening, here are some of the most popular persons in the world who are confirmed to have the pandemic coronavirus:
1.Tom Hanks
Tom Hanks is the first celebrity along with his wife Rita Wilson who have been diagnosed to have COVID-19. Hanks announced on Wednesday and said: "Hello, folks. Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive."
2. Sophie Gregoire Trudeau
Sophie Gregoire Trudeau is the wife of the Canadian Prime Minister Justine Trudeau. It was the office of the Prime Minister who confirmed that his wife is positive for COVID-19. Moreover, a recent report says that Sophie Gregoire is now feeling well but still in quarantine. The Prime Minister also decided to self-quarantine.
3. Rita Wilson
She is the wife of Tom Hanks who also tested positive for coronavirus. It was found out that before her coronavirus test result was released, she visited a morning talk show "Today Extra" that is hosted by David Campbell and Belinda Russell on Monday. The network is now on its "crisis response plan."
4. Rudy Gobert
Rudy Gobert is the first NBA player who tested positive for coronavirus. NBA season was immediately suspended following the confirmation of Gobert's coronavirus test. Gobert posted in his social media account where he wrote: "I have gone through so many emotions since learning of my diagnosis ... mostly fear, anxiety, and embarrassment. The first and most important thing is I would like to publicly apologize to the people that I may have endangered. At the time, I had no idea I was even infected."
5. Fabio Wajngarten
He is a public official in Brazil where he stands as the Communications Director. It was also found out prior to his diagnosis, that he attended a weekend event with President Donald Trump in Florida. This is the very first time that someone who is tested positive for coronavirus was in close proximity with President Trump.
6. Donovan Mitchell
He is the second player from Utah Jazz who tested positive for coronavirus. The result came one day after NBA suspends its season. Utah Jazz players were supposed to have a game against Oklahoma City thunders but it was immediately suspended after it was found out that Rudy Gobert from Utah Jazz tested positive for the virus.
The players of the two teams were sent right away to their locker rooms and they were tested for coronavirus along with the reporters and other essential persons who did direct contact with Rudy Gobert.
7. Daniele Rugani
He is an Italian soccer player and is the first player in Italy's top soccer division who tested positive for the virus. Rugani wrote on his Twitter media account: "I've already received so very many messages. But I still want to reassure you that I'm fine, so don't worry."
8. Mikel Arteta
He is the team manager and head coach of Arsenal. The team is supposed to play against Brighton on Saturday but following the test result of the coronavirus test of Arteta, the team knew that they will that be able to play in their scheduled games. In a statement released by Arteta, he said: "This is really disappointing but I took the test after feeling poorly. I will be at work as soon as I'm allowed."
