Quick and Easy Horchata Mix
Horchata is a beloved Mexican beverage made from white rice and nuts. Its popularity was so widespread it is even used as a flavoring in other beverages.
The popular drink spread to Spain in 1000 CE along with the Muslim conquest. It became popular in Valencia in the 13th-century. Today, horchata can be made with white rice, along with a dash of cinnamon or canella, and sometimes vanilla.
In Mexico and Guatemala, the drink often comes in large dispensing fountains in taquerias. Horchata is considered as one of the most perfect accompaniments to fast-food style Latin food such as tacos and burritos.

Horchata is fairly easy to make, though it requires patience and careful planning to yield mouthwatering results. Simply straining the rice could take hours to do, something a little bit too tedious to do daily.
We made a list of the best instant horchata mixes that will give you the same taste a traditional horchata has but takes thrice less the time to make.
Natura's Horchata Drink
Natura's Horchata mix tastes like the real deal. It carries the same rich and full flavor of traditional horchata without being too much. The mix does separate if you don't drink it within five minutes, so make sure to make it just before drinking.
Make the perfect glass by adding pure water, and a little bit of milk or sweetened condensed milk. Add in a dash of cinnamon or vanilla for a bit of kick.
Klass Horchata Instant Drink Mix
This horchata mix is flavored with rice and cinnamon and includes vitamin C. Horchata is great for curing hangovers and stomachaches.

If you just can't get enough of Horchata, then maybe a gallon can tide you over. Fiesta's Horchata Drink Concentrate can give you a dozen glasses of horchata.
Just add 7 parts water for every part of the concentrate mixture, add a little bit of ice and cinnamon for flair and you've got yourself a nice glass of Horchata. The drink mixture does leave a bit of an aftertaste, but it's still a pretty decent helping.
For best results, add a stick instead of ground or powdered cinnamon.
