Teen actress and singer Talia Jackson is the newest addition to the growing clientele of Tené Nícole, a full-service trendsetting, celebrity and lifestyle brands boutique marketing and public relations firm located in the heart of New York City.

The 18-year old actress now stars on the award-winning Netflix drama Family Reunion, playing the role of Jade McKellan alongside Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Loretta Devine.

Family Reunion, hailed as 2020 NAACP Image Awardee for Outstanding Children's Program, follows the McKellan family as they struggle to fit in in small-town Georgia.

In the first season of the family-oriented show, Talia's character tackled social norms and showcased her vocal prowess with the debut of Jade's new single, "This is Me, No Apologies."

According to the American-Lithuanian actress, she loves working with Netflix because it allows her to tackle sensitive issues while being kid-friendly at the same time.

"Netflix, show is kids and families but they allow us to bring up deeper topics that other kids and family shows would not get to talk about," Jackson said in an interview.

"They would try to make it kid-friendly and I think, in this day and age, kids should know everything that's going on in this country and this world. Netflix is open to having big conversations. And their events are so much fun."

Jackson has also appeared on ABC's Station 19.

Jackson was born in Wisconsin, but later moved with her family to Santa Barbara at the age of eight where she soon began pursuing her twin passions of acting and singing. In 2012, she starred in an International Disney program Disney English, which taught English to children all over the world.

At 18-years old, Jackson is an accomplished singer/songwriter. Her debut single "5FIVE," inspired by her own experiences with boys, is gaining mainstream momentum on video-sharing social networking platform TikTok with more than four thousand videos of people dancing to her song in under two weeks.

The song is also available on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Amazon Music, and Tidal.

"My goal is to inspire and influence my Gen Z peers through the work I am passionate about, acting, singing, and philanthropy," said Jackson.

"To encourage them to follow their dreams, no matter their circumstance. Dreams do come true! I'm humbled and excited to live them out every day and make an impact on the world!"

Behind the camera, Jackson spends time volunteering with animal rescue organizations alongside her younger brother Armani, who also works as a Netflix actor.

Aside from that, she actively takes part in the initiatives of Global Lyme Alliance, an organization dedicated to conquering Lyme disease, an illness which she and her mom have been suffering from.

"I was diagnosed with Lyme disease a year and a half, two years ago. It comes from a tick who carries Lyme; it's more complicated but it's easier to understand the disease this way. My mother was also diagnosed with this disease as well. My family and I are working with them [Global Lyme Alliance]. This organization is dedicated to conquering Lyme disease."
