Latinas are now being recognized more in various fields all over the world. They now symbolize women empowerment behind the gender gap the exists in some areas. At the same time, Latinos are also getting recognition in the entertainment industry.
They have been inspiring symbols of diversity for a while now while showcasing their talent and representing their respective countries.
Some Latinas have already marked a name like Sonia Sotomayor, Eva Longoria, Shakira, and many more. And each of them is highly admired and respected.
However, it is not known to everyone that many well-known celebrities have been deeply rooted as Latinas and Latinos.

Tori Kelly has achieved a lot as a singer. She has won two Grammys and has been nominated three times for different categories--One Billboard Music Award, BET Award, and many more. Tori Kelli is of Puerto Rican and Jamaican descent.
3. Nicole Richie
Nicole Riche has appeared on shows like Eve, 8 Simple Rules, Great News, Chuck, Grace and Frankie and many more. She is also the creative director of her boho-chic brand, House of Harlow 1960. Nicole Riche is the daughter of the musician Pete Michael Escovedo and niece of Sheila E which makes her Mexican and Creole-French African-American.
4. Ryan Lochte
Ryan Lochte is the second-most decorated Olympic swimmer in Cuba. He won 12 Olympic gold medals. It is not known to everyone his Latino heritage because he was born in New York and he, later on, moved to Florida. His mother was born in Havana and his father is English, Dutch, and German.
5. Vanna White
Vanna White has been on the television screen across America for almost 35 years. She is the co-star of the iconic game show Wheel of Fortune. It is now known to everyone that her father, Miguel Angel Rosich, was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
6. Helena Christensen
Helena Christensen is one of the supermodels of the '90s. She was Miss Denmark in 1986 and landed in several major magazine covers. It may seem that her last name is Danish and she was born in Copenhagen. But, Helena's mother is from Peru and she is very fluent in speaking Spanish.
7. Linda Christian
Linda Christian appeared in one of the James Bond movies. Typically, women in the James Bond movies are beautiful, smart, and sexy and Linda Christian is just one of them. Moreover, she is the first Bond girl and she was a Mexican. She was born in Tampico and her mother was also a Mexican.
8. Lynda Carter
Lynda Carter was the OG Wonderwoman. She was the superhero that many looked up to and loved by many children. She is not just an actress but she is also a singer, songwriter, and a beauty queen. Her complete name is Linda Jean Cordova Carter. Her mother was a Chicana or of Mexican, Spanish and French descent.
