These Face Masks Are Made by Latino Brands
In this time of the global pandemic, a face mask is one of the best weapons to protect ourselves from the invisible foe. Wearing a face mask lowers the chances of getting infected.
Since COVID-19 was declared by the World Health Organization as a global pandemic, many went to different stores and bought bulk volumes of it. Days after it was "Out of Stock."
People around the world continue to panic because of the threat brought by the infectious and deadly virus. This event led some members of the Latino community to create their brand of face masks that are now used by the different healthcare workers.
Here are some of Latin-branded face masks:
1. Martha of Miami
Her brand of face masks is very stylish, which is inspired by Cuban culture. Martha Valdes, the creator of the face masks, used her knowledge of Latino Pop culture in developing the face masks. Her face mask has the phrase "Tapate La Boca."
In one of her posts, she wrote: "With all your help, we've been able to donate almost 7,000 masks! Thank you to everyone who's donated and to our Miami healthcare community working every day to beat this. Stay home, stay safe, and enjoy the rest of your Easter Sunday. Masks are available at the link in our bio or MarthaOfMiami.com #TapateLaBoca #StayHome"
