Florida police are now searching two NFL players, Deandre Baker and Quinton Dunbar, for an alleged armed robbery at a house party, according to a recently published article.

NFL players Deandre Baker of the New York Giants and Quinton Dunbar of the Seattle Sea Hawks, who both played as a cornerback for their team were said to have robbed other guests at gunpoint during a house party on Wednesday night.

Warrants to arrest the two players have been already issued. Deandre Baker is charged with four armed robberies and four aggravated assault while Quinton Dunbar is charged with four counts of robbery. It was also found out that they took $12,000 in cash and watches worth $25,000.

According to the report filed at the Miramar Police Department, Baker took the money with force and was armed with a semi-automatic gun. Additionally, Quinton Dunbar assisted in taking the money and valuables from the attendees.

Moreover, another man who wore red masks remained unidentified was also part of the crime. Allegedly, Baker told the third person to shoot one witness but did not do so. The incident occurred after an argument that broke out while the guests were playing cards and video games during a house party.

The three of them immediately escaped to avoid capture. They used a Mercedes Benz, a Lamborghini, and a BMW.

Miramar Police Department spokesperson Tania Rues told a news outlet, "Obviously, there are attempts to get them to turn themselves in," On the police department's official Twitter account they wrote: "(1/2) A warrant to arrest has been issued for Deandre Baker, of the @Giants (four counts of Armed Robbery with a Firearm and four counts of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm.) Quinton Dunbar of the @Seahawks also has a warrant to arrest for four counts of Armed Robbery."

Moreover, based on the investigation that one witness sworn an affidavit that it seems that the crime was planned because three getaway vehicles were prepositioned to expedite an immediate departure in the area.

NFL already knew the crime incident but did not give any comments. Deandre Baker's team New York Giants issued an official statement saying that they have been in touch with their player but they did not give many details.

Meanwhile, Quinton Dunbar's team Seattle Sea Hawks also said that they are aware of the situation and are still gathering information. However, it is not clear if they have already contacted Dunbar.

Michael Grieco, the lawyer of Quinton Dunbar, said that five witnesses have sworn affidavit that his client was not involved in the burglary. Grieco also said that the affidavit has been submitted already at the prosecutor's office.

Grieco said: "I can't believe Miramar PD did a virtual touchdown dance without investigating further." The police department immediately released a statement as a response.

The spokeswoman said: "We have taped statements, sworn statements from each of the victims that were interviewed separately (four victims, one witness). The affidavit speaks for itself. If the victims have a different story to tell, they have not come to the Miramar police department and given any revised or different statements. If the victims have a different story to tell, they have not come to the police department to give it."

However, authorities are still demanding Dunbar to turn himself in but Grieco did not say if his client planned to surrender himself before the authorities.
