More or Less 100 Stores of Apple to Reopen Across the U.S. This Week
In a recent article, the different states in the United States are slowly jumpstarting their economy as they are allowing businesses to reopen and accept customers in their establishments.
Different US States Reopen
However, as the 50 states of the country are reopening, there will be some unique points on how the leaders of each state will be jumpstarting their economy. Furthermore, there will be rules or policies for businesses to follow before they reopen and it will not be the same in all states.
For example, California plans to reopen its economy by implementing four stages, according to an article. In the first stage, only businesses that are classified as essential are permitted to open and people were asked to stay at home. In the second phase, low-risk businesses will be allowed to reopen. In the third phase, the operations of businesses that are classified as high-risk will be allowed to resume business functions. In the fourth and final phase, the rest of the businesses in the state will be permitted to reopen. Churches, retail stores, restaurants, malls, clothing shops, toy shops, and beauty salons are some of the businesses that had recently been allowed to reopen in many counties in the state. However, those businesses are required to follow COVID-19 safety policies to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Apple Reopening Their Branches in the Various States
For companies with many branches operating in different states it will be a challenge to monitor every branch and oversee if they are complying with the reopening requirements of each state that they operate.
Apple is one of those companies that will be reopening its stores in states where they are permitted to operate. Almost half of its 271 stores across the U.S. will be operational. Based on an article, there are more or less 100 stores of Apple to reopen across the country this week as more and more states are starting to reopen their economy.
Furthermore, the Genius Bars of Apple will be opened for walk-in customers soon. Genius Bar is a service center of Apple that service broken devices of the brand.

According to the company, many of their stores that will be reopening will only conduct storefront services. Also, the company announced that they will be offering online pickup for their customers. It means that this is the company's method of preventing the spread of the novel coronavirus by limiting customer and staff contact through the storefront only service and online orders.
Moreover, the article reveals that the tech-giant had devised a well-planned method of reopening its stores. Despite some differences in the requirements of different states to reopen businesses, the article reveals that the company plans to reopen by focusing on social distancing, sufficient supply of personal protective equipment for employees and customers, and frequent sanitation and cleaning in stores. It means that the company plans to help the community prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus by supporting the prevention of COVID-19 transmission in each state.
