In collaboration with NASA, the launch of SpaceX will be the first time in history that a private company will be sending humans to outerspace, says an article. However, the launch was delayed due to the unpleasant weather that makes lift-off dangerous, according to an article. It means that the scheduled launch of the SpaceX will be not going as planned.

The launch is rescheduled on May 30th according to NASA.

The Postponed Flight

The flight was made possible through the efforts of Elon Musk's private company. It was stated in the article that the company plans to make a test flight to the International Space Station or ISS on May 27. The day was going smoothly as planned. There were no technical issues and the crew was ready for take-off. However, man nor any other invention of man is not that strong to combat the weather.

If all goes well, the first private firm to host a flight to outer space will be on Saturday. It will lift off from Florida's NASA Space Center in Kennedy. It means that people will have to wait a couple more days before they can witness the commencement of the test flight that will make it to human history. Due to the unexpected weather condition, the flight was rescheduled. The test flight was named Demo-2.

Demo-2 will be a space mission to prove to the public the capability of SpaceX to allow a safe roundtrip space to travel from earth to outer space and back to earth. There are a lot of milestones that the company had already achieved and this month's mission is just one of them.

A Rocket To Outer Space

The crew who will be manning the rocket will be aboard a Falcon 9 rocket. Based on the website of SpaceX, Falcon 9 is designed to safely carry humans and other cargo outside the earth's atmosphere. The company can save up money by reusing the many parts of the rocket. It means that the company can use again in other missions some of the expensive components of the rocket. It allows them to reduce the cost of launch to outer space. Furthermore, it is the first reusable rocket in human history.

Based on an article, the two astronauts who will be riding the spaceship are Douglas Hurley and Robert Behnken.
