Two women have accused Bieber of sexual assault that happened in 2014 and 2015, subsequently. However, the singer has denied the accusations.

Issues about the sexual assault against the singer went viral online over the weekend. And on Sunday, Bieber commented and refuted on one of the accusers, while he chose not to comment on the other one.

According to a report by TMZ, Bieber filed a massive lawsuit against the two accusers for defamation, and called it malicious claims. He sued for a total amount of $20 million, which means $10 million for each accuser.

Alleged Sexual Assault

One of the accusers named Danielle posted on her social media account that he was sexually assaulted by Bieber on March 9, 2014, after Bieber's performance at SXSW. The accuser claims that Bieber took her to a Four Season Hotel in Austin.

However, the singer denied this accusation and said that there's no truth to the story. He was encouraged by his wife to speak up about the issue.

In fact, Bieber showed different receipts from AirBnBs to support his claim that he had never been to the said hotel.

Another social media post went viral and accused Bieber of sexually assaulting her in 2015. The woman's name is Kadi and she said that she believed Danielle because she too was a victim of Bieber.

According to a published article in We Are Mitu, Kadi explained that the sexual assault happened in New York City in 2015. She claimed that she had an encounter with Bieber outside the Langham Hotel, where the singer was staying and at around 2:30 a.m., she was invited by Bieber's bodyguard.

She thought that she was invited to join a party with Bieber, but the singer took her in a separate area and sexually assaulted her despite asking the singer to stop.

Bieber's Response to the Accusation

Bieber said he never normally addressed accusations thrown against him. But after he talked to his wife and his team, he decided to speak up about the issue.

He said that rumors are rumors, but sexual abuse is something that he does take seriously. Bieber also explained that he wanted to speak right away following the accusation -- out of respect to many victims, who are experiencing sexual assault each day. He also said he decided to gather facts first before making any statements.

In the lawsuit filed by Bieber, he alleged that the two accusers may have been working together to destroy his reputation or could be one person only operating and using multiple Twitter accounts to execute the alleged sexual assault against him.

It was also found that the second accuser was a super fan of Bieber, who oftentimes wait outside Bieber's hotel to seek his attention. TMZ obtained a document of the lawsuit, where the second accuser admitted that he never met Bieber after the date of the alleged assault.

Meanwhile, Bieber supported his claims with receipts and photos that will help him defend himself against the sexual assault accusation hurled at him.
