Crunchyroll, the world's most popular anime brand, commissioned an anime-portrait for the British-Nigerian actor and producer John Boyega.

Boyega recently shared on his Instagram account his portrait created by commissioned artist Zzyzyy (pronounced as Zee-zee). The artwork was inspired by some of Boyega's favorite anime and that includes "Naruto," "Bleach," "Attack on Titan," and more. According to an article published in the Geek Tyrant, it is not a secret that Boyega is a fan of anime.

This is the reason why Crunchyroll, the world's most popular anime brand, has commissioned a portrait of the "Star Wars" actor. Geek Tyrant described the portrait as "pretty cool" and was compared to an anime series from "Rooster Teeth gen: Lock."

Today, Boyega joins other stars, who were featured in their exclusive streetwear collection, and that includes Michael B. Jordan, Billie Eilish, NFL players LJ Collier and Cameron Jordan, NBA player Jaren Jackson Jr., and AEW wrestler Kenny Omega, among many others.

Boyega thanked Zzyzzyy and the Crunchchyroll for the artwork they made for him. It is a manifestation that Boyega is a well-recognized actor. On the other hand, the anime-inspired created for him is very timely as the world is facing systemic racism.
