As Selena Gomez turns 28 on July 22, the singer announced through an Instagram post that her cosmetics company Rare Beauty will have a $100 million charity drive "Rare Impact Fund" to help increase the access to mental health services.

Gomez will be putting one percent of all sales from her company to the charity she built, and she hopes that the drive would eventually raise $100 million within 10 years to help those in need.

Selena Gomez expressed her gratitude to her team in a press release. The team helped her make the "Rare Impact Fund," as per Daily Mail. Selena added that she and her team wants to give back to the community and support the people who need mental health services. The "Same Old Love" singer pointed out that Rare Beauty is focused on helping people feel connected to one another and lessen the feeling of being alone in the world.

"I'm proud of the work we've begun to do with our partners to offer these services to anyone who needs support," Gomez said. Rare Beauty also established the "Rare Beauty Mental Council," composed of mental health leaders and professionals, as per US Magazine.
