The undisputed and former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson warned Roy Jones Jr. that he is on a 'search and destroy' mission and willing to ignore exhibition rules.

The boxing legend and former heavyweight champion will be back inside the boxing ring for an exhibition match against another boxing legend Roy Jones Jr. The former boxing world champions are set to have their fight on September 12 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

The local athletic commission will facilitate the exhibition game and insisted that they do not want the two veterans to get hurt during the exhibition game. However, a published article in Stuff said that it seems the rules have fallen on deaf ears when it comes to Mike Tyson.

Mike Tyson told the TMZ News after his training session that he is always looking for a knockout. The former heavyweight champion said, "This is search and destroy, and I'm looking forward to recapturing my glory." Tyson did not also raise any concern about George Foreman's suggestion that someone could get hurt if they take the exhibition game seriously.

The 54-year-old boxing legend Mike Tyson seeks one of his trademark knockouts when asked about it. He said that if an opportunity comes in and he is always looking for it. This means that this is not just an exhibition game for Mike Tyson, but also a fight to regain his glory.

Many are excited to see Mike Tyson once again inside the boxing ring, yet many are also concerned about their fight because of their age. However, Tyson said that they both are professionals, and they know how to handle themselves.

Mike Tyson asserted, "Whatever happens, happens. The fighting game is what I'm about, and hurting people is what I'm about."

Andy Foster, Executive Director of California State Athletic Commission, told the Boxing Scene that he had discussed the but with Tyson and Jones and demanded not to take the exhibition bout seriously.
