Two Georgia police officers are on administrative leave after shooting five minors on a vehicle stop on Saturday.

The officers are on leave until Waycross Police release further investigation in South Georgia. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, no one was injured or killed in the shooting. But a 16-year-old had minor injuries and was treated by EMS after an altercation with the officers.

As per CNN, one out of four officers involved in the shootings is under investigation by the GBI since Friday night.

Around 8 AM, Saturday, Waycross Police noticed a car making a traffic violation and attempted to obtain the vehicle's license plate information. According to a news release from GBI, there were five minors ages 9,12,14,15, and 16 inside the car.

The 9, 12, and 14 aged minors went out of the car as it continued to move toward the officers. The police officers fired multiple shots at the vehicle with two minors inside then the children jumped off the vehicle while it was still in running.

The 16-year-old was arrested for possessing a handgun, reckless driving, stop sign violation, driving without driver's license, and aggravated assault on a police officer. The 15-year-old was charged with felony, possession of a handgun, and attempting to remove a firearm from an officer.

WJXT, affiliate reporter of CNN spoke with the father of the children involved in the incident and three youngest children. The father of the children, Dominique Goodman Sr. told WJXT that the five children are on their way back from Walmart when the officer began following their car.

WJXT spoke with Dominique Goodman Sr., the father of the children involved in the incident. The officer allegedly didn't turn on the lights to pull the children over until they reached their neighborhood as per the three youngest children.

The oldest teens were scared, so they told the other minors to jump off the car and run home to get help from their father. When the three youngest children got out of the vehicle, the officers started shooting at them, according to the 12-year-old girl.

The 9-year-old boy told the affiliate reporter that there were at least seven shots fired by the officer. "It passed my face," the boy said. "I could have gotten shot in my face, but they shot the swing."

Goodman explained that the officers shot a car full o'f unarmed minors who obviously are children. "Who can't see that this is a child? They look like children," Goodman asked. "They are babies. What was the purpose of the shooting?"

The gunfire was heard by Goodman. He saw the children running toward the house, and screaming for help, as per WJXT.

Goodman told the story that they went to the back and opened the door. They saw their 9-year-old, 12-year-old, and 14-year-old running from the police behind them while gunshots came behind the children.

The family was supposed to head to a football tournament in Jacksonville, wherein two of Goodman's kids are scheduled to play. The children were heading to their home to pick up their father, WJXT reported.

Goodman pointed out that they have good neighborhoods, and all neighbors are kin. The neighbors know that Goodman's kids are not bad. "Our kids almost lose their lives to go to a football game? Man, that's crazy. That's crazy. Almost lost their lives going to a football game," Goodman told the affiliate reporter.
