It has certainly been a stressful time for the Kasem family.

Just days after Casey Kasem's daughter, Kerri Kasem, blamed his wife Jean Kasem for her father's deteriorating health, she is now pulling Casey Kasem off of life support as per a judge's orders.

Earlier this week, Kerri blamed Jean's decision to take Casey Kasem on a trip to Washington State as the reason for the worsening of his Lew body disease.

Kerri went public to say that Jean purposely took her father away from his medical home and began "torturing him for two and a half weeks."

Kerri even told The Hollywood Reporter that Jean inserted Ensure instead of his medication inside his feeding tube.

"My dad was moaning and crying and, for three weeks, didn't have any pain medication. She tortured him for two and a half weeks," Kerri Kasem told The Hollywood Reporter this week. "This woman has hastened my father's death."

Whether or not Jean actually "tortured" Casey still remains unclear, but what is clear is that these will be Casey's final days.

Casey Kasem, who is known as a legendary disc jockey and radio personality, currently suffers from Lew body disease, a common type of dementia.

Because of the worsening of his condition, CNN reported that Kasem's children, along with the appointed judge in Casey's conservatorship case, have opted to have doctors end his infusions of water, food and medicine.

Without these infusions, Casey Kasem will undoubtedly be seeing his last days.

Kerri Kasem's lawyer, Troy Martin explained to CNN that Casey's doctor concluded that, given Casey's tragic medical state, continuing on with the infusions would "at best prolong the dying process for him and will certainly add suffering to an already terribly uncomfortable dying process."

However, the Kasem children's decision to pull their father off of life support isn't a decision they came up with just by themselves and the court system.

According to TMZ, this decision is also something that Casey Kasem himself would want.

Casey's health directive document reportedly states, "If the extension of my life would result in mere biological existence, devoid of cognitive function, with no reasonable hope for normal functioning, then I do not desire any form of life-sustaining procedures, including nutrition and hydration."

Casey's wife Jean is the only person in the family who is against the decision.

TMZ reported that Jean "stormed out" of the courtroom following the judge's orders and screamed that the Kasem children will have "Casey's blood on their hands."
