The U.S. Treasury Secretary announced that Trump's administration and Congress could agree and come up with another round of stimulus package.

Congress has already returned Monday in a chance to discuss a new stimulus package that will help millions of Americans who are financially impacted by the global pandemic. Congress has 12 days left to draft the bill and deliver the stimulus package that Americans needed before the election. 

Democrats are likely going to draft a new bill because they are getting pressures from the voters after the Democratic members in Senate rejected the Republican-led targeted bill. People or qualified voters might blame them for failing to deliver help to millions of Americans and businesses. 

This time it is not only Trump's administration who is pushing for a new stimulus package but also the leaders of the 26-member Blue Dog Coalition of moderates who told the Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi that they want a new bill on a stimulus package. 

As Congress returns Monday after a recess, it seems that the Democratic lawmakers are divided. Budget Chairman John Yarmuth of Kentucky said that he wants a vote on a new stimulus bill that includes an extension of unemployment benefits. 

Yarmuth said, "We should pass a targeted bill with our top immediate priorities -- UI, food support, state and local aid, maybe some small business help. Republicans have been able to battle us to a draw by claiming we're unreasonable. We should show the country we're serious and responsible."

He said this after a series of a report blaming the Democrats and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for blocking the proposed targeted bill of the Republicans and the failure to release the $300 billion to be used for $1,200 direct stimulus package and other financial aids. 

Representative Derek Kilmer, chair of the centrist New Democrat Coalition, also raised an idea to vote for a new stimulus package during a Thursday evening caucus call. However, Pelosi rejected the idea and said that the Democrats should be firm in the negotiations. 

Moreover, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi continues to reject the proposed relief package of Trump's administration because she knew that once she lets it happen, it will help Pres. Trump boost his Presidential bid. Meanwhile, voters also blame Pelosi for not acting on the new bill. 

House Progressive Caucus co-chair Pramila Jayapal of Washington state also said, "There are many of us, all of us, who want a deal. The negotiation is more important than just the symbolism of passing something," This just means that many Congress members want to have a new bill. The only problem is Pelosi's stand not to have it.

Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, an Iowa Republican, also added and said, "It looks like they don't want to get to an agreement. And if they don't want to sit down and talk, I think they think they're going to have a political victory."

Pres. Trump's administration has long been emphasizing support for the second stimulus package. There were a series of negotiations made, but the Top Democrat negotiators continued to reject. Overall, Trump's administration has offered five times and rejected five times also.
