'Avatar: Legend of Korra' Season 3 Trailer: 6 Things to Look Forward to [Watch]
Earlier this week, an unofficial trailer leaked footage from "Avatar: Legend of Korra."
In response, the creators have released the official trailer. And in about two minutes, we get a revealing look into Korra's world. Here are things that caught our attention:
1. Sparky Sparky Boom (Wo)Man?
Combustion Man, as he was later known, has descendants? It's not clear from the quick look into this new character, but she shares the same signature third eye on her forehead. She keeps it covered it seems. She's probably not going to be a good character. She even looks a little bit like Azula.
2. The Earth Kingdom
We get a look at the Earth Queen. The Earth Kingdom will play a bigger role in this season than it has in the past. The first two seasons revolved around the Water Tribes and the Airbenders. Also, there were some people bending magma, though it's not clear who can control it.
3. Air Nomads and Flying Bisons
When Aang was around, we only knew of one flying bison, Appa. We saw some more in Korra's world because of Tenzin at the air temples. But in the clip we see more bison, and many more people from the air nomads.
4. Bumi, The Airbender
Bumi is not a bender, but in this clip, he is shown possibly airbending. It may, in fact, be some sort of deception, just as Katara faked being The Painted Lady, with Aang airbending to achieve the effect.
5. Jinora in the Spirit World
Jinora was just learning about the spirit world, but this season, she'll be able to better control her abilities. We'll also see her being generally very brave and fighting alongside everyone else.
6. Fire Lord Zuko
We met his grandson previously, who looked like him and even sounded like him. (Zuko and his grandson are voiced by the same actor.) Now we know that Zuko is still alive. All we can hope is that the first scene where he is introduced he says, "Zuko here."
