Mitch McConnell's Discolored Hands Spark Health Concerns
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell sparked health concerns after his bruised, and bandaged hands were spotted.
McConnell,78, was spotted on Capitol Hill in Washington DC with a severe discoloration of hands. On Thursday, the Senate Majority Leader garnered questions regarding his health after seeing deep purple hands.

According to The Sun, McConnell covered his discolored hands with several band-aids wrapped on his knuckles. Besides, McConnell's lips and an area around his mouth looked bruised and discolored.
The Kentucky Republican said that there were "no concerns" when CNN asked about his apparent bruises as well as other problems.
When asked if a doctor was treating him, McConnell didn't respond. McConnell's limbs were compared to Harry Potter's Professor Dumbledore by social media users. Dumbledore's character has hand blackened by a Horcrux ring in the "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," its sixth franchise film.

"Of course not," McConnell told reporters when asked if he has any underlying health issues that the public must know about.
One social media user speculates that Mitch McConnell contracted COVID-19 after earlier this month, an alarming outbreak happened at the White House.
McConnell claims that he is in good health, aside from his bruised hands, and attending business as usual in the Senate. A senator aide refused to give any information when asked about the majority leader's health several times, as per The Sun.
Meanwhile, others in social media said he is taking blood thinners or has other health issues. According to Daily Mail, one physician they consulted speculated that McConnell's bruised hands could be a combination of his anticoagulation medication and is experiencing a 'repetitive trauma.'
The 'super spreader' event that caused an outbreak among President Donald Trump's circle happened during the large Rose Garden event wherein Amy Coney Barrett was announced as President's nominee at the end of September.
The focus on the Senate majority leader's health came when he plans to hold a floor vote on confirming Trump's Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett on Monday.
The timing of the final confirmation vote for Barrett was mentioned again in McConnell's exchange with the reporter at the Capitol. "It would take place 'probably on Monday evening, early," he claims.
Earlier Thursday, Barrett's nomination was moved out of the Judiciary Committee when Chairman Lindsey Graham went forward with the proceedings on Friday to the Senate's floor.
Of the ten of the Democrats on the panel, no one showed up for the committee vote. Instead, Democrat protested against the confirmation by boycotting and holding a press-conference immediately after the vote.
Republicans could lose one more member and still have Vice President Pence to break the tie. That's why Democrats have little can do to stop Barrett's confirmation from making it through the Senate.
