In the video, Offset was heard saying, "You told me to put my hands up, I'm not doing that. There are 25,000 people on my Livestream. You're going to get sued publicly."

The rapper says that the officer can't do it, and it's illegal. He claims that he will sue them. "Y'all know who I am?" He also said cursing words and introduced himself as a "celebrity." during his Instagram Live; he added, "I'm Offset from Migos."

Allegedly, one of the police officers claimed Offset was "raising guns at people." However, Offset said that the Trump supporters used a flag to strike his car.

The incident took place near a pro-Trump rally, the cops said. Supposedly, police would arrest Marcelo Almánzar, a 20-year-old cousin of Offset's wife Cardi B, TMZ identified.

According to the officials, they received information from a passerby that "a person pointed a weapon from a vehicle at him." as the passerby gave the vehicle's license plate, it was immediately stopped by patrol units from a short distance.

Cops added that following the on-scene investigation, the passenger in the reported vehicle was arrested. The victim did not pursue charges for the pointing of a weapon. Almanzar was the assailant, and that there have been media reports that rapper Offset was arrested, cops detailed. However, as per The Sun, those reports were inaccurate.

A rapper representative told ET that the Beverly Hills Police Department detained Offset after aggressive Trump supporters attack. After that, he was released shortly.

The representative continued and said that Offset thanked his fans for their wishes and support for peace and safety amid these trying times. Cardi B's husband encourages everyone to get out and vote as nothing changes if nothing changes, the rep said.

On the other hand, according to Daily Mail, Cardi B was physically restrained on Saturday when she pleaded with the police to release her husband after the suspicion of waving a gun at Trump supporters. As Cardi B was held back by a friend, she yelled, "That's my husband! Why are you pointing a gun at him?"

Cardi B appeared in the scene through her black Rolls Royce and found Offset next to his orange jeep, arguing with the officers. Offset told the officers who asked him to step away from his vehicle, "I'm not going nowhere."

Then, Cardi b shouted that she would be recording the incident. She yells as Offset is led away, claiming that Offset is not armed.

Later on, Offset was released without any charge, while Marcelo Almanzar was arrested and charged with gun offenses. Several hours later, Almanzar was released on a $35,000 bail.
