Biden Campaign Canceled Texas Events for Safety Concerns
Democratic bet Joe Biden's campaign team has canceled at least two events in Texas on Oct. 30 after vehicles carrying Trump flags and signs surrounded one of Biden campaign's buses.
The said campaign bus was traveling from San Antonio to Austin, according to Democratic officials as reported by Fox 13 News.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking into the incident, according law enforcement officials.
The footage shows vehicle surrounding bus, which was carrying campaign staff, on Interstate 35 in New Braunfels.
John Hinojosa captured the vide and told reports that he was on his way to pick up his grandchild when he saw the incident. He added that he thought it was a bad traffic for a Friday.
According to a Texas Tribune report, the incident included at least one minor collision event, which caused the Texas Democrats citing "safety concerns" as the reason for cancelling the events.
U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted a video of the caravan surrounding the Biden bus. In his tweet, Trump said that he loves Texas.
Tariq Thowfeek, Texas communications director for the Biden campaign, said that rather than engage in productive conversation about the hugely different visions of Biden and Trump, Trump supporters put their staff in harm's way.
Texas GOP Chairman Allen West disputed the incident and characterized it as more "fake news and propaganda."
The event happened just days before the 2020 presidential election.
Harris County, Texas has recorded 128,000 people who voted in person during the first day of early voting last week.
Over nine million Texans have already voted. This surpasses that total turnout in 2016.

Texas GOP
Texas is one of the battleground states with 38 electoral votes at play.
Texas has been long considered Republican and almost exclusively voted for GOP in decades of past presidential elections.
Experts say that could possibly change this year.
University of Texas political science professor, James Henson, said that Texans are very aware that they are in the spotlight.
"It's not entirely new, but it's increased in the last couple of elections as Texas becomes more competitive," Henson was quoted in a Fox 13 News report.
Earlier reports said that the transformation is very obvious that the 2020 election could be the first time for Democrats to capture Texas in a presidential election since 1976.

Henson said that he expects that they are going to see a very close presidential election in Texas.
Texas voted Democratic in the large majority of presidential elections from 1872 through 1976.
However, the trend changed in 1980 when Texas voted Republican and chose Ronald Reagan to lead the country as the county's 40th president.
This was the start of making Texas as a Republican dominated state.
Henson added that the change has been brewing for a while, adding that Texas has become increasingly competitive.
This is due to change in population and change in demographics in the state,
Census.gov data showed that Texas' population showed quick growth between April 2010 and July 2019.
