Jennifer Lopez set the stage on fire during the 2020 American Music Awards (AMAs) with her Sunday night performance. But her performance didn't sit well with Beyonce fans as they claim that Lopez copied some of her looks from Beyonce's 2014 GRAMMYs performance.

According to Fox News, the actress performed on stage with her collaborator Maluma, where they performed their hit songs, "Lonely" and "Pa' Ti," the soundtrack records for their upcoming movie "Marry Me."

The reality dance show judge wore a revealing catsuit, styled her short dirty blonde hair in a wet look. The charade also shows Lopez dancing around a chair, a black, blue, and red fireworks beaming on the stage.

"Beyhive," the name of Beyonce's fan groups, called Lopez out for allegedly imitating Beyonce's style during her 2014 performance at the Grammy Awards where Beyonce performed "Drunk in Love."

Meanwhile, an insider close to Lopez took exception to Lopez's loose Twitter accusations copying Beyonce's act. The source said the comparison was unfair as Lopez's performance was based on her newly released 'Lonely' music video "'Pa' Ti' and 'Lonely,' which is a two-parter were recently released and if you watch the second half, it's Jennifer's 'Lonely' performance adapted for stage," explained the insider.

On Twitter, a user wrote, "So I'm not the only one who was like "But wait...." Love J Lo and she totally gave us #Beyonce at the 2014 Grammys."

Another commenter said, "JLo and Maluma killed it at the #AMAs," and attached images of Beyoncé and Jay-Z performing their original number in 2014.

InStyle reported that social media people compare Lopez's latest dance number to Beyonce's show from the 56th annual Grammy Awards in 2014. They accused J.Lo of possibly imitating her stage setup from Beyonce's.

As per the IB Times, during Beyonce's 2014 Grammy appearance, she also wore a black body-suit costume while she performed a sensual act with her husband, Jay-Z. Social media people narrow down the similarities to their hairstyles, which were both short and "wet."

Neither party has commented on the allegations or responded to any of the comments to date.

Jennifer Lopez set pulses for the annual ceremony. She decided to rock a 'we' hair look perfectly framed her sculpted face, styled by her and Kim Kardashian's shared hairstylist Chris Appleton.

 According to Daily Mail, the production source informed them that the overall routine and look was inspired by the Cell Block Tango routing from a Chicago musical, even if Beyonce fans compare Lopez's act Beyonce's performance with husband Jay-Z.

However, many commented that the two performers were stunned, a head full of glossy, short locks, a semi-sheer black catsuit, and danced in a chair.
