Team Executives Reject NFL's COVID-19 Policy
Tension now emerged inside the National Football League or NFL due to their COVID-19 policy. Team executives rejected the new policy of the NFL.
NFL is one of the sports leagues in the country that has stringent guidelines against COVID-19. This is to make sure that players, coaches and their staff, and other essential persons are safe from the spread of the virus.
Effect of COVID-19 on NFL Teams
All quarterback players of Denver Broncos could not play because they were exposed to another player in the team who tested positive for the virus. The team still decided to continue against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
However, there are still many persons who questioned the COVID-19 policy of the NFL. The Baltimore Ravens' Week 12 game was postponed three times after it is originally scheduled for Thanksgiving night. Instead, the game took place on Wednesday against the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers.
After the loss of the Baltimore Ravens, executives of the team questioned the COVID-19 policy of the NFL. This is partly because of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the country.
One thing they might suggest is to follow the format of the NBA when it restarted the season. That includes isolating all players and have the games in a bubble arena.

Executives Reject NFL's COVID-19 Policy
One team executive said, "I don't give a damn if you have to move offensive players to defense or whatever to fill a team. I just disagree (with postponing Baltimore's game). They are making adjustments for one team, and it just seems way out of bounds because everybody else is getting hammered."
According to Yard Barker, another team executive who chose not to be named said that a member of the Denver Broncos' organization was even more boisterous in his criticism of the NFL COVID-19 policy. This is even if the team's game was allowed on Sunday.
NFL Commissioners Explained the League's COVID-19 Policy
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell attempted to explain the COVID-19 policy of the league to make sure that everyone is treated equally.
Goodell said that even though one of the players in Denver Broncos tested positive for COVID-19, they were still allowed to play on Sunday because the virus was contained rather than the game being pushed back.
However, the outbreak of the virus inside the Baltimore Ravens is still spreading. This could be the reason why their games were rescheduled for three times.
Despite the chances of players and other persons in the team to be exposed to COVID-19 because of their game format, Goodell is still firm that there are no plans for the NFL Playoffs to be played in a bubble. This is despite the success of the NBA, MLB, and NHL moving to bubbles during the pandemic.
