Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene To File Impeachment Articles Against Biden
Newly-elected Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Wednesday said that she would file articles to impeach president-elect Joe Biden on his first day in office.
Talking to Newsmax, Greene said she plans to introduce the measure to impeach Biden on Jan. 21, one day after Inauguration Day.
Marjorie Taylor Greene introduced her plans after the House of Representatives voted to impeach President Donald Trump for the second time.
Greene tweeted about her plans along with a hashtag calling to impeach Biden. In another tweet, she also claimed that "75 million Americans are fed up with inaction" from Biden.

Marjorie Taylor Greene did not specify what charges the impeachment articles may come with.
Marjorie Taylor Greene Known to Support Far-Right QAnon Conspiracy Theory
Newsweek noted that Greene had been a public supporter of the conspiracy theories from QAnon and a strong Trump ally.
These theories are based on unfounded claims of a "deep state" involving influential people such as political business leaders working against Trump.
Supporters of the QAnon believe that Trump is the leader of a secret war against a group of pedophilic human-traffickers.
Greene won her House seat in Georgia's 14th Congressional District in November and has since distanced herself from the conspiracy, noted a report from The Sun.
Marjorie Taylor Greene Accuses Biden of Being 'Bought Off by Foreign Governments'
Greene said Biden was willing to abuse his powers as incoming president and can be "easily bought off by foreign governments, Chinese energy companies, Ukrainian energy companies."
She was referencing in accusations that Biden engaged in corrupt activities during his stint as vice president that revolved around his son Hunter's work as a board director for the Ukrainian energy company Burisma.
The Hill reported that Marjorie Taylor Greene cited an argument made by several Trump allies in the past that Biden tried to withhold a loan to Ukraine if then-prosecutor Viktor Shokin was not replaced.
When asked if she was only doing the impeachment articles as a symbolic move, Greene said there might be people who may be afraid of Biden leading the country and may also start a riot like what Trump supporters did in the U.S. Capitol last week.
She added that she does not condone violence, and Americans have to know that members of the GOP are "willing to stand up and fight for them regardless of being in the minority."
Trump faced impeachment in 2019 on charges of abuse of power, but the GOP-controlled Senate acquitted him in February 2020.
Constitutional law expert Alan Dershowitz also warned the Senate at the time that attempting to impeach for abuse of power could pose a danger to democracy.
"If they want to lower the bar on what impeachment is then, yes, let's roll with it," Marjorie Taylor Greene said, insisting that a Biden impeachment is what Americans want to happen.
"We don't need a man serving in the presidency of the United States who is guilty of committing the crime of abuse of power," she added.
