Mike Huckabee Suggests Idea of Impeaching Kamala Harris for Bailing Out BLM Protesters
Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee said it might be good to start with Vice President-elect Kamala Harris if all politicians linked to riots would be removed from office.
In an interview with Fox Business on Saturday, Mike Huckabee commented on the January 6 Capitol protests that took five people's lives, including a Capitol police officer.
He acknowledged that President Donald Trump's words before the riot were not well chosen but added that this should also apply to other politicians like Kamala Harris.
Mike Huckabee cited Harris' actions for Black Lives Matter (BLM) protesters where she raised funds to get them out of jail on bail.
"Politicians say reckless things all the time," he said, adding that if Trump can be impeached for his words, "then we'd better impeach Kamala Harris for saying the things she did last summer about the rioters and looters."

For Mike Huckabee, Harris' actions meant that the rioters could go back to rioting, The Daily Caller reported. "Everybody should have a turn," he noted.
The report added that Kamala Harris did support the BLM protesters by raising money for the Minnesota Freedom Fund and bailed them out with contributions from staffers of then-presidential candidate Joe Biden.
Mike Huckabee Believes Capitol Rioters Should Be Charged
Mike Huckabee said Trump's actions on the day electoral votes were about to get certified did not "serve the country's interest very well," reported Western Journal.
He also disagreed with the way Trump pressured Vice President Mike Pence to reject the election results. He said Pence was right, and Trump was "totally off the mark" in digging into what Pence's powers as VP held. However, it was not enough to warrant an impeachment.
Mike Huckabee also pointed out that rioting wasn't right regardless if it was conducted by the left or right, a Fox News article read.
Even though the former governor is "happy to see" there is prosecution awaiting the Capitol rioters, he also wants the same penalties to be extended for the BLM protesters who participated in destruction last summer.
"It shouldn't be a left or right thing, this is a right or wrong thing," he noted. Mike Huckabee also said Trump's impeachment clouded four years of "amazing accomplishments" under the administration.
Trump's impeachment was voted on in the House last week, but it's unclear when the Senate's trial could take place.
Georgia's GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green earlier said she would propose Biden's impeachment on his first full day in office.
