Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have reportedly called off their two-year engagement as they broke up.

The couple had been publicly spotted and photographed together in the Dominican Republican a month ago, when they were on the set of Lopez's movie "Shotgun Wedding."

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have been dating for almost four years and announced their engagement in 2019.

However, reports said the couple had already canceled their wedding twice because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A source told Page Six that the former Yankee player is now in Miami getting ready for baseball season, while Lopez is in the Dominican Republic filming her movie.

Jennifer Lopez posted on social media a series of old clips of herself laughing in different TV appearances, with the caption "find a good reason to laugh today."

On the other hand, Rodriguez posted a photo of himself alone on a boat on Friday, according to a Fox News report.

"Don't mind me, just taking a sail-fie. What are your plans for the weekend?" Rodriguez captioned in his social media post.

The split comes amid romance rumors between Rodriguez and "Southern Charm" star Madison LeCroy.

Jennifer Lopez-Alex Rodriguez Relationship

The former athlete proposed on vacation in March 2019, with an emerald-cut diamond ring, reportedly costing around $1 million.

The couple first met in the late 1990s when Jennifer Lopez signed a picture for Rodriguez. It is the souvenir the MLB star held on to for around 20 years.

They started dating in early 2017 and became a couple in March.

"I remember I was doing my show in Vegas... and I flew in - and I was tired - and there were all these flowers and chocolates and cake and everything, and I was like, 'Who sent me all that?'" Lopez said in the Jimmy Kimmel Live interview in 2019 as she recalled the gifts that Rodriguez sent her.

But last December, Jennifer Lopez started expressing doubt and uncertainty about getting married for the fourth time.

She admitted to Andy Cohen on his radio show at the time when they talked about not getting married.

Jennifer Lopez said they have been both married before and there's definitely no rush.

In January, the romance rumors between Rodriguez and LeCroy surfaced. Cohen tried to get to the bottom of LeCroy's alleged relationship with a very famous ex-MLB player during the Southern Charm show's reunion special in January, according to a New York Post.

LeCroy then admitted that she talked to a married baseball player on Instagram. However, she denied that she flew to Miami to hook up with him.

Cast member Craig Conover called LeCroy a liar and a homewrecker as he claimed that LeCroy and the man were "jerking off on FaceTime" all the time.

A source claimed that the Rodriguez-LeCroy romance rumor was the reason why the couple broke up.

The source added that they were already problems, but Lopez was really embarrassed by it.

Ojani Noa was the first husband of Lopez. They got married in February 1997, according to a Hollywood Life report.

In September 2001, Jennifer Lopez married Cris Judd. However, their marriage did not last long and they divorced by June 2002.

She also wed Marc Anthony in 2004 after her split with Ben Affleck.
