After Jennifer Lopez and fiancé Alex Rodriguez have officially called it quits, Madison LeCroy commented on the breakup. The Latina superstar and the former baseball player announced their split in an exclusive joint statement released to TODAY.

In the statement, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez said they realized that they are better off as friends and looked forward to remaining so.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez reportedly called off their two-year engagement last month as they broke up. But multiple reports at the time said the two "never officially broke up" and were still together.

A source earlier claimed that the Rodriguez-LeCroy romance rumor was the reason why the couple broke up. Romance rumors between Rodriguez and LeCroy surfaced last January.

Madison LeCroy has admitted that she talked and had been FaceTiming with an unnamed famous baseball player. However, the "Southern Charm" star denied that she flew to Miami to hook up with him.

Eventually, LeCroy admitted that the then mystery man was Rodriguez, but she denied that she had been physical with him. She said they have only spoken on the phone, and Rodriguez is just "an acquaintance."

Madison LeCroy on Lopez-Rodriguez Split

Madison LeCroy remained silent when the news about Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez first surfaced last month. But now, the 30-year-old star wished both Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez the best as they go their separate ways.

"I wish them the best," LeCroy told Page Six. Reports said that it seemed that Madison LeCroy had moved on from the allegations last month by hitting the Bahamas to surf with friends.

In their joint statement, both Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez said they would continue working together and supporting each other on their shared businesses and projects.

Before the official announcement,Lopez posted a picture of her from the set of her new movie "Shotgun Wedding" on her Instagram account. Her engagement ring was missing from the photo.

Lopez and Rodriguez have been dating for almost four years and announced their engagement in March 2019, CBS News reported.

Rodriguez, a former Yankee player, reportedly proposed to Lopez in the Bahamas with a massive diamond ring. But reports said the couple had already canceled their wedding twice because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ojani Noa was the first husband of Jennifer Lopez. They got married in February 1997. Then in September 2001, Lopez married Cris Judd. However, their marriage did not last long, and they divorced by June 2002. After her split with Ben Affleck, she wed Marc Anthony in 2004.
