Despite the fact that the District Attorney's office of Fulton County gave her the opportunity to come back after an unpaid leave of absence for three months, Andi Dorfman chose to quit her job instead in order to focus on her love life.

The 27-year-old star of the television reality show "The Bachelorette" worked as an assistant district attorney in Atlanta before joining the show for its 18th season.

In a report by TMZ on Monday, the prosecutor's office said that they would rehire Dorfman if given the opportunity, all the while making only positive remarks about her. Her work as a lawyer was focused on prosecuting gang crimes in Atlanta before she filed for a leave of absence in order to join "The Bachelor" earlier this year.

Andi admitted on the show that she had a great life but she did not have anyone to spend it with, making it clear that she really is serious about putting love ahead of her career. She also added that she loved her job as a lawyer but it wasn't her top priority.

Despite choosing to pursue her love life, the lawyer-turned-television star acknowledged that it was a very hard decision. Before she quit her job as a prosecutor, she considered asking for another leave of absence until December after her previous leave expired on May 31. Ultimately she decided to quit outright.

Andi Dorfman graduated from the Wake Forest Law School and joined the District Attorney's Office in November 2012 as an assistant district attorney, according to her LinkedIn profile.

She has narrowed her choices from 25 bachelors to 11 on her TV show. Andi also mentioned some bad experiences she had shared with guys before -- specifically with the Venezuelan bachelor Juan Pablo, from whom she walked away after "a nightmare" in the fantasy suite.

Still, the former prosecutor seems to be enjoying her stint on the reality television show, even posting on Twitter and Instagram about her potential suitors.
