UFC President Dana White had attacked UFC fighter, Paulo Costa, over the fighter's demands for more pay. The fighting association president said that he said some nutty sh*t and he straightened it out.

The fighter claimed that he never signed a contract to fight Jared Cannonier this summer as he wanted to get paid more for the fight, according to a BJPENN report. Cannonier will now take Kelvin Gastelum instead.

Costa had said his reasons for the withdrawal on social media, saying that the UFC needed to pay him as a "main fighter." He added that YouTubers were disgracing the fight business and fighter pay, according to a Sportskeeda report.

White noted that Costa should have started a YouTube channel when he was a teenager. The UFC president said that he's not happy that Costa was complaining about UFC fighter pay, adding that he talked with him.

Meanwhile, the UFC president disputed Costa's claim and said that he signed a contract for the fight. White said he thinks Costa did sign as they extended him, according to an MMA Weekly report.

White noted that he is not a YouTuber fighter and this is what he does for a living. He then added that it's either Costa wants to fight or not.

Paulo Costa's UFC Career

Costa has pulled out of a main event the second time this year. He has not fought since his second-round TKO loss against Israel Adesanya for the middleweight championship at UFC 253.

Costa later revealed that he had completed that fight with Adesanya partially hungover as he had drunk a full bottle of wine the night before the fight to help himself sleep.

Adesanya had also commented on Costa's recent issue, adding on White's comment that Costa should have started a YouTube career when he was a teenager.

Adesanya said Costa's YouTube channel should be about wine tasting, according to another Sportskeeda report.

Costa also said that anything less than $350,000 is a joke, implying that he was offered less than that to fight Cannonier.

White said that he missed out on that opportunity for the fight against Cannonier.

YouTubers' MMA Fight

Meanwhile, YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul will be returning into the ring to fight MMA star Tyron Woodley, with the work already underway to sell the fight to fans across the world, according to a Give Me Sport report.

Paul and Woodley went face-to-face with each other in Miami, United States. Social media had accused Paul of being scared of Woodley.

Paul was claimed to be not looking in Woodley's eye during the photoshoot.

Paul responded to the accusation and claimed they were ignorant, saying that critics have never been in a boxing gym a day in their life, yet they know everything about boxing.

Paul will be fighting in the ring for his fourth professional fight after being a video creator.

Woodley had won the UFC Welterweight title back in 2016. He lost his last four fights inside the octagon.
