Christina Aguilera expressed her support for her "Mickey Mouse Club" co-star, Britney Spears, amid the conservatorship battle.
Aguilera took to social media to express her support with the "Oops I did it Again" singer, describing what her co-star experienced as "depleting, devastating, and demeaning."
Christina Aguilera posted her sentiment on Instagram and Twitter on June 28, when she applauded Britney Spears for criticizing the "strict legal arrangement" that controlled the singer's life for more than 13 years, E Online reported.

Christina Aguilera Expresses Support to Britney Spears
The "Candyman" singer started her statement by saying that she was thinking about Britney Spears in the past few days and everything she's going through amid the conservatorship issues.
Aguilera's support for her "Mickey Mouse Club" co-star came after Britney Spears told a court Wednesday that she wanted her conservatorship to end without being evaluated.
The 39-year-old singer, who had been under the conservatorship since 2008, argued that she had been traumatized by her father through his control, NBC News reported.
In her testimony, Britney Spears mentioned her frustrations, such as being unable to go forward with what she wants, taking a break from work, having more children, and getting married.
Spears also claimed in her testimony that she was prohibited from removing an intrauterine device (IUD) although she wanted to have a baby.
"It is unacceptable for any woman, or human, wanting to be in control of their destiny might not be allowed to live life as they wish," Aguilera said in her Instagram post.
Christina Aguilera further noted that every woman must have the right to their "own body, reproductive system, her own privacy, her own space, her own healing, and her own happiness."
As she posted a snap of herself and Britney when they were young on Twitter, Aguilera also said Spears' plea for freedom made her believe that her co-star "has been living without compassion or decency from those in control."

Christina Aguilera said her heart goes out to her "Mickey Mouse Club" co-star, who "deserves all of the freedom possible to live her happiest life." She added that Britney Spears "deserves all the TRUE love and support in the world."
Christina Aguilera joins the roster of celebrities who supported Britney Spears amid her conservatorship issues, such as Justin Timberlake, Wendy Wiliams, and Spears' sister, Jamie Lynn.
