Apple has recently launched a new software for its users. The iOS 15 public beta is available for those who are willing to try the unfinished software for an early look at all the new features coming to Apple devices.

The new iOS 15 update brings plenty of new experiences for the users, such as the expansion of FaceTime to include Android and Windows users, CNET reported. There will also be an iMessage improvement to make it easier for users to track links and photos sent by friends.

What's New On the Latest Apple iOS Update?

Aside from the inclusion of Android and Windows users in FaceTime, a new notification feature is being introduced with the iOS 15 designed to help tidy up your notifications.

Users can add as many scheduled summaries as they want and pick the exact time that notifications will be present. According to another CNET report, there is also a new Do Not Disturb (DND) feature that allows users to create custom Focus profiles that will let the apps you select alert you while other apps remain quiet.

The new DND mode will also allow you to select contacts you will still receive alerts, whether messages or phone calls. There is also a new scan text tool with the latest software development.

Users can long-press inside a text field as if they will use the copy and paste prompt. However, instead of the copy and paste, you will now see a Scan Text button.

You can put your camera at whatever you want to scan and follow the prompts on the screen. A "Slow Down" prompt message will flash on the screen if you are moving your camera too fast.

In addition, Safari has been entirely redesigned in the new iOS, with a one-handed design that moves the URL bar to the bottom of the screen, The Verge reported.

Download and Install the iOS 15 Public Beta

Users can install the public beta by enrolling their Apple devices in the public beta program. Users who have been part of the public beta earlier can sign in using the same Apple ID. Users should visit this website using Safari to enroll in the Beta Software Program.

The new iOS will be compatible with select devices that Apple released. The said devices will receive the update when it officially launches later this year.

Craig Federighi, Apple's senior vice president of Software Engineering, said that iPhone has become indispensable for many customers.

Federighi noted that this year, they had created even more ways to enhance people's daily lives, according to an Apple statement.

The Apple official said the latest iOS would help users stay connected while sharing experiences in real-time. It will also give them new tools to help reduce distraction and find focus.

He also cited the huge upgrades to Maps. Federighi added that they could not wait for customers to experience it.
