It's every baseball fan's dream to have their team come through in a critical situation like the ever-so-popular "bottom of the ninth, down one run, two outs, bases loaded" situation. Now in MLB: The Show 2014 you can create your own challenges like these for other gamers to complete, and you'll be rewarded too.

Community Challenge mode in The Show is a game mode that allows you to tweek the game situation to your liking and then send it off as a challenge for other online users. You can customize anything -- the score, the inning, the teams, and much more.

Once you've decided all of the changes you want to make to the game, you can then post it onto the PlayStation Network for other gamers to try. Make it an exciting and popular challenge and more gamers will take part in your challenge. You'll be rewarded with "stubs" (an online currency) when other gamers take part in your challenge.

Maybe you want to make your team down by five runs, on expert difficulty, in the 7th inning. Does that sound tough? The Show's biggest fans and expert gamers will want to try it!

One user posted a Big Papi Triple Challenge. The challenge is simple in its description, get David Ortiz to log a triple and you succeed at this challenge. But, actually making it happen is going to be hard. That's because while David Ortiz is an extremely powerful hitter, he's a very poor runner, both in real life and in The Show video game.

Watch how much trouble the user that created the challenge has trying to get a triple for David Ortiz!

That was tough! But what about getting your pitcher to log a no hitter? That means going all nine innings without giving up a hit. The problem with this challenge is you'll have to play the entire game from innings one to nine and once you give up a hit, you'll have to start over.

There's so many possibilities with these community challenges. You can choose the players and the situations to cater to your liking. Maybe you want to pull off the perfect suicide squeeze to win the game for your team!

You can charge a "price" for gamers to enter your challenge and they'll be rewarded with more "stubs" if they successfully complete it. Or, you can make the challenge free, requiring no "stubs" for trying your challenge.
