Rihanna proves to the world that she is indeed a football fan as she live-tweets commentary during the World Cup match between England and Uruguay on Thursday, June 19.

The "Right Now" singer took to her Twitter account to let her fans and followers know what she thought about the 90-minute performance between the two teams at Arena Corinthians, São Paulo, clearly rooting for Wayne Rooney and his England team.

"ENGLAND whatchu gon do??!" she first tweeted, expressing her concern over the team's lack of defense. When Liverpool striker Luis Suárez made his second goal, the Barbadian singer could not hide her frustration.

Rihanna offered her commentary on the South American team's defensive back four, very much impressed with their skill to stop England from equalizing. "Uruguay defense is almost disrespectful!!! 2 good," she tweeted. She also praised the team's goalkeeper, "Fernando Muslera be on his sh*t tho!" Despite her cheering, England was disappointingly defeated by Uruguay, 2-1, forcing the team on the brink of elimination in Group D as a result.

It seems that the "Diamonds" hitmaker is paying quite a lot of attention to this year's FIFA World Cup, as she has been live-tweeting during a series of matches so far. For instance, during the Netherlands vs. Australia game, which resulted in Netherlands advancing with 3-2 victory, she was beyond happy about the "marvelous' game, saying "Holland is on one."

Meanwhile, Rihanna has another team that she is rooting for -- she recently revealed her World Cup crush on the social media website. "Da ba doe! I might have to be team Ghana on this one idc idc idc," she wrote the caption accompanying a photo of Ghanaian player Kevin-Prince Boateng.
