Robin Thicke 'Paula' New Album Cover, Tracklist & Instagram 2014: 'Blurred Lines' Hitmaker Dedicates LP Entirely to Wife
In a desperate attempt to get his estranged wife back, Robin Thicke releases the official cover and tracklist for his upcoming seventh studio album "Paula."
Thicke took to his Instagram account on Thursday, June 19, to reveal the artwork for his new LP. The image sees the apologetic "Blurred Lines" hitmaker with his head down under bright red and green lights. "#Paula 07.01.14," he wrote the simple caption.
The 14-track album was entirely written and produced by Thicke himself, as it seems that there is no guest artists involved in his latest project. "Paula" will also feature his new single, appropriately titled, "Get Her Back." The majority of the titles in the album clearly allude to the regretful separation from his wife and effort to bring her back into his life.
Robin Thicke and actress Paula Patton first met while in high school and got married back in 2005. However, after eight years and having a 3-year-old son together now, the couple announced in a statement they had "mutually decided to separate" but would remain "best friends" in February. Ever since then the singer has made several attempts to win his estranged spouse back and has dedicated songs to her during live performances.
Patton recently told Vanity Fair about Thicke: "We've known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there's a deep love there -- always was, and always will be."
