Sorry, ladies. The gorgeous, blue-eyed hunk whose mug shot went viral this week is a married man.

Women have been swooning over Jeremy Meeks since he was arrested and the Stockton Police Department in California published his mug shot on Facebook. The picture has racked up over 80,000 likes and inspired a host of memes, Metro.co.uk reported.

The 30-year-old convicted felon revealed during a jailhouse interview Friday that he has a wife and a 3-year-old son. He told News 10 that he found out about his newfound fame after he spoke to his wife of four years.

"I appreciate [the attention], but I just want them to know that this is really not me," he said from behind glass. "I'm not some kingpin."

According to Officer Joseph Silva of the Stockton Police Department, Meeks was arrested on one gang charge and five weapons charges June 18, HollywoodLife.com reported. Police believe Meeks was a part of an active group allegedly responsible for shootings and robberies in the area. Three other men were arrested with him.

During the interview, he also said he has done some things he is not proud of.

His bail is $1 million.

Although Meeks is 6 feet 1 inch with killer looks, the sexy felon's rap sheet includes a string of convictions. He also spent nine years in prison for grand theft auto, the Examiner reported.

His mother, Katherine Angier, has set up a gofundme page to raise money for her son.

"Please help. My son was taken into custody on his way to work. He is a working man with a son," she said. "He has a job, and he was on his way to work, and no gang affiliations as per two of the charges. He's my son, and he is so sweet. Please help him to get a fair trial or else he'll be railroaded."

His niece, who lives in Florida, said her uncle is "amused that he is famous off his looks." She also insisted that he "is a loving father, husband, brother and uncle." She did say he had been involved with gangs but that he gave up the "gang life" years ago and "gave his heart to God."

"He has a past, and because of it, he is being stereotyped. We wish all the judgment would stop. ... He just wants to get home to his family," she said.
