Kanye West, now legally known as "Ye," said Thursday that he might not perform at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April unless Billie Eilish apologizes for her comments about concert safety in a recent show.

West took to Instagram to vent his frustrations against the Grammy Award-winner, who paused her concert at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta on February 5 to get an inhaler for a distressed fan, The New York Post reported.

"Do we have an inhaler? Can we just grab one? Don't crowd... We're taking care of our people, hold on. I wait for people to be OK until I keep going," Eilish said in a short video from the second night of her "Happier Than Ever" world tour obtained by TMZ.

Despite not mentioning Travis Scott by name, West interpreted Eilish's comments as a direct insult after the Astroworld Festival tragedy in November, which involved his friend Travis Scott.

It can be recalled that Scott's concert resulted in the deaths of 10 people when fans rushed the stage during his performance.

"COME ON BILLIE WE LOVE YOU PLEASE APOLOGIZE TO TRAV AND TO THE FAMILIES OF THE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES," West wrote in the caption of a snapshot of the headline from RapSeaTV reporting of Eilish's alleged "diss."

West's rant continued and said that "no one intended this to happen." He added that Scott did not have any idea of what was happening when he was on stage and claimed that the rapper "was very hurt by what happened."

Although Scott, 30, was removed from the Coachella lineup last December after a Change.org petition received over 60,000 signatures, West seemed to imply that Scott would still join him at the festival.

"YES TRAV WILL BE WITH ME AT COACHELLA BUT NOW I NEED BILLIE TO APOLOGIZE BEFORE I PERFORM," West noted.

Following Scott's Astroworld concert that resulted in tragic and unnecessary deaths, the online petition reads, "We ask AEG, Paul Tollett, and Goldenvoice to remove him as a performer at all of their festivals."

Billie Eilish Reacts to Kanye West's Threatening to Quit Coachella 2022 if She Doesn't Apologize

Billie Eilish has casually brushed off Kanye West's comments. A few hours after the rapper threatened to pull out of Coachella if she did not apologize, Eilish said: "Literally never said a thing about Travis. Was just helping a fan."

Besides Eilish and West, this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival boasts an impressive lineup that includes Harry Styles and Swedish House Mafia after two years of postponements and cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Billboard had previously confirmed that Travis Scott and Rage Against the Machine will no longer headline 2022 Coachella and revealed in August that Frank Ocean would instead perform next year.

Coachella 2020 was originally scheduled for April 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was moved to October before being canceled entirely. As the COVID-19 continued to spread, the event for 2021 was also canceled.

Coachella 2022 will take place in the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California on April 15-17 and April 22-24.

Kanye West Thanks Travis Scott For Daughter's Birthday

Kanye West, the estranged husband of Kim Kardashian, the sister of Travis Scotts' girlfriend Kylie Jenner, thanked Scott for informing him about a birthday celebration for his 4-year-old daughter Chicago West that he claimed he was not invited at.

"Yo, I'm so happy right now," Kanye said in an Instagram video shared by Hollywood Unlocked last month. "Shout out to Travis Scott for sending me the address with the time and making sure that I was able to spend the birthday memory with my daughter."

In the video, Kanye West also claimed that Kylie Jenner got him inside the party after "security" refused to let him in when he arrived. According to the rapper, his life centers around his children.
