Kim Kardashian has filed new legal documents in connection to her divorce drama with Kanye West, arguing that the rapper's previous social media posts caused her to experience "emotional distress."

In the court filing, the SKIMS founder also expressed her "very much desire to be divorced" from the "Donda" rapper, Fox News reported.

Kim Kardashian underscored in the filing that she wished Kanye to keep their divorce private, but the rapper did not do so.

"Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private family matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress," the fashion mogul highlighted.

Kim Kardashian's Filing Says Divorce Would Help Kanye West to Move On

The filing, which was submitted to Los Angeles Superior Court, also argued that West's actions show that he has not yet accepted that his marriage with Kim is over, arguing that the rapper publicized private conversations and that he promulgated personal family matters and co-parenting on social media, Los Angeles Times reported.

Because of this, Kim's camp thinks that the divorce would help Kanye accept that his relationship with the reality star is over.

"Terminating marital status should help Mr. West to accept that the parties' marital relationship is over," the legal documents said, adding that the move would also make the rapper "move forward" on a better path that will allow them to practice peaceful co-parenting.

In the court filing, Kim Kardashian revealed that she wished for her marriage with the rapper to be continued. However, the fashion mogul realized that there is "no way" to repair their marriage, per Fox News.

The SKIMS founder then asked the court to restore her status of being single for the "healing process" of her family and herself to begin. Kim also pointed out that restoring her to being single will make them "move forward" with the new chapter in their lives.

Kim Kardashian's Camp Slams Kanye West's Move to Block Reality Star's Filing

Kim Kardashian's legal filing came days after Kanye West submitted documents to block the reality star's proposal of granting her civil status back to being single.

According to Billboard, Kanye's filing argued that Kardashian's request poses a "risk of adverse consequences" that must be resolved."

The outlet noted that Kim's proposal in court is set for approval in early March.

However, the rapper's attorney said in their court filing that Ye would only allow Kim to be legally single if she agreed on several pre-conditions, including the reality star's ability to quickly remarry, and other conditions regarding what will happen if either of them dies before their divorce was resolved.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian's filing this week slammed West's legal move, calling it "unprecedented" and that the move is driven by West's goal of making Kim have a hard time to remarry.

The filing furthered that West's new argument has "little to do" with legal details of their breakup, arguing that the reasons are connected with the fact that West does not want their marriage to end.

It can be recalled that Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West in February last year. The filing for the separation came after they spent at least six years being together.

During that time, attorneys for Kim Kardashian noted that Kim "has no desire" to reconcile with Kanye and wants their marriage terminated, despite sharing four kids while being together.
