Selena Gomez did not need her Christian Louboutin heels as she entered the stage barefoot to present an award alongside co-star Martin Short at Sunday night's 2022 SAG Awards.

Gomez - whose Hulu show Only Murders in the Building was nominated for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series - wore black heels while walking the red carpet.

Gomez left everyone surprised after she turned up on stage barefoot.

During her red carpet entry for the 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, Selena tripped and fell to her knees in front of photographers, and it seems following the same, she decided to ditch the pumps for the night.

The singer's fans were impressed with the move and applauded her, calling it the "most Selena Gomez thing ever."

Ahead of the show, which marked the 29-year-old singer and actress's first SAG Awards appearance, Gomez's makeup artist Hung Vanngo showed off her transformation in a clip shared to Instagram Sunday, PEOPLE reported.

With her hit "Look At Her Now" playing over the video, Gomez rocked a Magenta cozy sweater, messy bob, and a makeup-free face before transforming into her full-glam SAG Awards look: a black velvet Oscar de la Renta gown, paired with a $1 million Bulgari necklace boasting more than 200 carats of diamonds.

She resembled Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" with her jewelry, gown embroidered puff sleeves and a subtle cutout, and a black bow hair ribbon in her neat bun.

Along with Vanngo, the star's glam squad included Gomez's frequent fashion collaborator stylist Kate Young, nail artist Tom Bachik, and hairstylist Marissa Marino.

Bachik showed a closer look on Instagram of Gomez's emerald green nails, which matched her Bulgari ring perfectly.

Gomez Recalls Most Memorable Beauty Disaster

Earlier this month, the founder of Rare Beauty told Glamour UK that her look at the Heavenly Bodies-themed event at the 2018 Met Gala four years ago was a complete disaster.

Gomez, who attended the Met in a white Stuart Vevers Coach gown, with glittering eyeshadow and diamond jewelry, told the outlet she regrets how tan she looks in photos.

She explained that while getting ready for the Met Gala, Gomez and her glam team put on a bit of tanning lotion, and it indeed "looked beautiful."

At the start of the evening, the "Who Says" singer was pleased with her tan but later noticed her complexion took on an increasingly orange tint.

When Selena saw a picture of herself, and it looked completely orange, her first thought during the prestigious event was: "I have to get out of here!"
