Nate Estimada, the 24-year-old star of "Men of the Strip," committed suicide last week.

Sources said that at his final performance in Boston, he seemed off. He wasn't talking to others. A friend close to Estimada said that he had been getting treatment for depression, according to TMZ.

The star, who was known by his stage name "Midnight Cowboy," died after his Ford Mustang dived 400 feet off of a cliff and into a landfill. Police believe he took his own life, but they are waiting for a toxicology report to see if he was under the influence of drugs.

Estimada had previously worked as a Chippendales in Las Vegas.

The official "Men of the Strip" account released a statement.

"Management & cast of Men of the Strip is extremely saddened at the loss of one of our own," the statement said. "Cast member Nate Estimada passed away on Wednesday, June 18. We are heartbroken at the loss of our brother and friend and send our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, friends and fans. Our thoughts and prayers are with them all at this time."

Jeff Timmons, former 98 Degrees singer and creator of the troupe, also expressed his condolences on social media.

"R.I.P @midknightcowboy," he said on Instagram. "Nate you are incredible. The job of putting something together like @menofthestrip is a tough one. Juggling personalities, and making sure everyone is happy. You are one of the easiest people to work with that I've ever encountered. You never complained, looked incredible like an Adonis, inspired, lead, and were a consummate professional."

He went on to say that he enjoyed working with him professionally and being friends on a personal level.

"Men of the Strip" was announced earlier this year, and the men chosen for the show were more than just a set of abs. They were able to sing. They were funny and entertaining. The show debuted over Memorial Day weekend on E!
