'Frozen' Movie Online, 'Let It Go' and Soundtrack: Pearl Jam Covers Disney Hit Song [Watch]
"Frozen" and its soundtrack have proved to be hits for Disney.
The movie has become one of the top-grossing films of all time, and "Once Upon a Time" is already planning on having a storyline revolve around Elsa.
Just in the United States, the soundtrack has sold more than 2.7 million copies.
Eddie Vedder probably earned points from his daughter when he performed "Let It Go" in Milan, Italy, on Friday. He added the "Frozen" song to the end of Pearl Jam's "Daughter," according to Crave Online.
He, like many other parents of young children, has likely been hearing the song for months on end.
Luckily for fans of the movie, the song has a ton of other interesting covers. One video even has Kristen Bell showing how she creates the singing voice for the younger character.
And it doesn't end there.
The movie is also coming to Disney on Ice.
The show will start touring in Orlando, Florida, in September, according to The New York Times.
"This is definitely up there in terms of our top, probably, five franchises," said Robert A. Iger, Disney CEO. "So you can expect us to take full advantage of that over the next five years, I would guess."
Feld Entertainment produces Disney on Ice and has frequently asked Disney to let it focus on animated movies because of the big musical numbers. They don't work the same way in the movie versus on the ice, but the company can take some creative freedoms.
Feld has been working with the film's producers and directors.
"Their input has been extraordinarily helpful as we try to exceed the very high fan expectations," said Patty Vincent, director of "Frozen" on ice. "They helped us with Elsa's style of movement -- balletic, vertical -- and how it differs from Anna, who is more playful and horizontal."
