Cardi B Explains Why She Did Not Attend Grammys 2022 After Deleting Her Twitter Account
Cardi B explained on Sunday why she did not attend the Grammys 2022, hours after she deleted her Twitter account over a heated dispute with her fans.
The rapper took to Instagram to explain why she failed to attend the awards show, claiming that she is busy and working on new music, per E! News.
"I gotta prep today and I gotta prep tomorrow. So Tuesday, I'm going far away and f--king finish the motherf--king album," Cardi B stressed on her IG live.
The rapper also pointed out that she is also doing a red carpet soon, claiming that it will be great. However, she underscored that she does not want people to attack her and call her lazy even though she works hard.
Cardi also noted that she also got mad when her fans called her lazy.
In the video, she asked back her fans why she would attend Grammys 2022.
"Do I have any new music? Why would I show up with one nomination?" Cardi B highlighted.
Cardi also slammed her fans who brought up her son while she was in heated arguments with them.

Cardi B Deletes Twitter Account
Cardi B went live on Instagram hours after she deleted her Twitter account.
According to Billboard, the rapper posted statements before deleting her account, calling her fanbase dumb.
"I'm deleting my twitter but On God I hate this f-in dumb- fan base... You got the slow dumb-es dragging my kids all cause y'all though I was going to the Grammys and I didn't the f- ? When the f- I hinted I was going ?just f-in stupid I can't I needs to protect myself," Cardi pointed out.

In another tweet, Cardi also wished misfortune on one of her fans' mother after the commenter claimed that the rapper teased them and did not drop any new music.
Cardi also called on her fans to reprimand them for claiming that she dropped hints of going to the Grammys.
In a since-deleted message, the rapper went on to ask when she hyped her fans and when did she ever drop hints, New York Post reported.
"I'm not going to [an] award show if I don't get a new song to perform Or my album ain't out." Cardi further noted.
The post also mentioned that the rapper also lashed out on Twitter after her fans intimated that one of her children is autistic, urging the fans to not project what they have on her kids.
In the IG live, Cardi B also warned her fans, saying that she will hate her fans if they brought up her son.
The rapper claimed that she will wish the worst on them, their mother, father, sister, and "everything."
Other Time Cardi Deletes Her Twitter
It was not the first time that Cardi deleted her Twitter account.
According to Billboard, Cardi B also deleted her Twitter in March last year due to her frustration with her fans.
Reports noted that the fans demanded the rapper release a new album.
In October of 2020, Cardi B also temporarily deactivated her Twitter account when her followers criticized her personal life and even harassed her husband, Offset.
