President Joe Biden on Thursday made some embarrassing gaffes while announcing the United States' latest package of sanctions against Russian oligarchs.

During his White House speech, Biden spoke about plans for a new military and humanitarian aid package for Ukraine, totaling $33 billion, Express reported.

However, he appeared to struggle with reading the autocue. And when he started talking about holding corrupt Russian oligarchs responsible for their actions, he made verbal slip-ups. Biden reportedly twice mentioned "accomodating" Russian oligarchs.

"I'm also sending to Congress a comprehensive package of that will enhance our underlying effort to accommodate the Russian oligarchs and make sure we take their - take their ill begotten gains," Biden noted as Fox News reported.

He added: "We're going to accommodate them." The president's vocal flub did not stop there as he made another gaffe while reading the words "kleptocracy" from his teleprompter.

"We're going to seize their yachts, their luxury homes and all their ill-begotten gains of [Vladimir] Putin's kleptocri- k- yeah, kleptocracy- klep- - the guys who are the kleptocracies. Ha. Ha. Ha. But these are bad guys," Biden noted.

America Matters executive director Jim Hanson tweeted that "America deserves better."

Republican congressional candidate for Georgia Vernon Jones tagged First Lady Jill Biden in a tweet and asked her to prioritize Biden's health first.

Joe Biden's Other Gaffe This Week

On Monday, Joe Biden called the National Hockey League (NHL) commissioner "Batman" while hosting players from the Tampa Bay Lightning ice hockey team at the White House.

In his speech, Biden noted that he wanted "to thank Commissioner Gary Batman and - for being here as well," Express reported.

The NHL Commissioner is Gary Bettman, and the verbal slip-up caused some of the players behind the president to smile and laugh with each other.

Biden reportedly welcomed the team to the White House to celebrate their back-to-back Stanley Cup championship victories.
