Kim Kardashian Divorce Case: Kanye West's Fourth Attorney Quits Amid Legal Battle With the Reality Star
Kanye West's fourth attorney in his divorce case from his ex-wife Kim Kardashian has decided to leave the rapper.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Kanye's lawyer Samantha Spector filed a motion to be relieved as counsel for the rapper in his divorce case with Kim.
The new court documents obtained by ET on May 26 showed the reason of Spector, who said: "There has been an irreconcilable breakdown in the attorney-client relationship."
The documents further noted that the lawyer served Kanye the motion and has communicated with the rapper through his new attorney, Deborah Hong.
"Attorney has communicated with Ms. Hong, an attorney-at-law, who has confirmed she is acting on behalf of Ye [Kanye's legal name] and should receive all communications directed to him," Spector said in the motion.
Spector, who has been practicing law for over 20 years, is the Founder of Spector Law, a professional law corporation that exclusively focuses on family law matters. Kanye hired Spector to represent him in his divorce case in March.
