Amanda Bynes has shown another sign that she is trying to fade out all links to her troubled past.

On Sunday, June 15, the 28-year-old actress was spotted in Las Vegas with a male companion, while dressed casually in a plaid button-down shirt, skinny jeans, pointed-toe black flats and sunglasses. However, a tattoo on Bynes' left forearm was noticeably faded after she was seen wearing bandages on the area earlier this year, reports Us Weekly.

Earlier this year, it also appeared like the former child star was in the process of removing her angel wings tattoo from her right forearm after she was spotted in her hometown of Thousand Oaks, California, with a dramatically faded version of her angelic tatt, reports the New York Daily News.

Previously, the dark tattoo was very visible. Now, the ink is barely noticeable while the surrounding skin looks pink and irritated, which led one neighborhood witness to presume that she is undergoing a laser removal process, they told the Daily News.

In May, the recovering star returned to Twitter to share a loving photo of her alongside her sister.

"Me and my beautiful sister @jillyjoyce," wrote the actress as a caption on May 15.

In the picture, both women are smiling while dressed in trendy, semi-formal outfits. Bynes is sporting black shorts, a black peplum top, polka-dot shawl and black pointed-toe pumps with a snakeskin handbag. Meanwhile, her sister is dressed up in a pair of tight black pants, matched with a sheer black top and blue sandals.

This was the first time that the star tweeted since she shared photos of herself in Mexico on her birthday, April 3. In the pics, the "Hairspray" star looked happy and healthy as she posed in a neon bikini while on vacation with her parents. "Spring break," she wrote as the caption on the first picture. For the other photo, she wrote, "Thank you everyone for all the birthday wishes."

This is a complete 180 from the months of bizarre and erratic behavior that Bynes displayed in 2013. Not only was she accused of throwing a bong out of a high-rise apartment in Manhattan, but the embattled star posted a number of disturbing tweets and attacked celebrities like Rhianna and Christine Teigen on Twitter.
